This guitar is in exceptional condition for one that is over 70 years old. All bits are original and in fine working order.
And it has its original hard case, much heavier than the guitar itself.
When you look up the Harmony sites you will find that this guitar was imported to Britain in 1938-39. It was also renamed "Columbian" for our market
The reason the fretboard is in unused condition is because it had been set up to play slide guitar with the nut attachment on it to raise the strings. And the condition of the body shows that it hadn't been played very much anyway. There is a small scratch on the front that keeps it from being in ex. condition.
The hard case is also in surprisingly great condition. Must have spent most of its life carefully stored away. This on its own is worth a few hundred pounds.
I have put a new set of strings on it, so it is ready to play.
If for any reason you want to return the guitar I will pay half of the return PP. I like using the courier companies for delivering my parcels. We can arrange a meeting in East London at your convenience should you want to come pick it up.
Note that I will send the guitar within 10 days of purchase. If this grates with you please take it up with us and not with the star ratings. We do have other things happening in our life that often means we cannot send an item immediately.
